Last year, Ricky overcame a tough veteran to reach the Crucible for the first time. Now he has another great opportunity against a young rookie he beat 5-0 last year on his way to the Shanghai Masters title.
Ricky is a super star in China so Zhang will know he's up against it although he did well to beat JP and Higgo.
What a great opportunity for Ricky to have a big finish to his season.

I'm choked. 8-8 and the guy comes up with two century breaks.
I guess Ricky is already on the plane to Vegas for a breather (ACDC Black Ice tour at the MGM Grand is a must).
Somewhere early in the season he must have run over a black cat because he has not had the best of numerous close encounters. All season he has met guys who were on a mission to re-establish themselves and they sneaked by him
Being on the threshold of the top 16 is a tough place with just one vital round each time against an opponent who is settled in.
I hope that Ricky will regroup and come back stronger next season. He has the guts and determination to fight back.
